Supplication of Moses (pbuh) in times of distress, anxiety and fear
Peace be upon you.
It has been ages since this blog has been updated and for a good reason. My situation has changed and it has been such a positive one. Due to that, I wish to spread the love around and share the following.
Back during his days, the prophet Moses (pbuh) had gone through a few hard times. On one occasion, he killed someone by accident and fearing the pursuit and unfair prosecution by biased authorities, prophet Moses (pbuh) fled with only the clothes on his back.
To put things into perspective, he was being pursued by the authorities who were vengeful of him killing one of their own. And then in the open sands of Egypt's vast desert, he fled with almost nothing except for the clothes he wore. Sure he may have known some far away places to rest or hide, but imagine what went through his mind to figure out his future. Not only that, he was among those who belonged in the palaces of the Pharaoh living a life of luxury and convenience. Now he finds himself bare, pauper, without companionship and literally down to earth.
Along the way, he aided a pair of sisters in watering their flocks. Again, putting things into perspective; he was dehydrated, thirsty, dead tired and saw an oasis full of rough men with their flocks. He saw the sisters with their herd unable to 'muscle' their way through and guess what he did? Yup, he helped them to water their animals.
Lesson above: Even if you're in deep trouble, it is by no means an excuse not to assist if you have the capacity to.

Cut the story short - how did Allah respond?
Remember the sisters? One of them married prophet Moses (pbuh) and he was offered a job to tend to their animals, which he took up.
So point here is, if distress, anxiety and fear overwhelms you, perform a good deed and supplicate the supplication above. Good deeds come in many forms; prophet Moses (pbuh) assisted someone, giving to charity is also a great deed etc etc.
And to be more specific, if one wishes for marriage and a job, the above would immensely assist (tried and tested by yours truly)

bestow on me!” (Quran 28:24)
