When adversity strikes

May you read this in the best of condition.

The past few weeks have been exceptionally challenging. Facing another of these calamities is difficult without guidance and food for the soul. Although this is of a greater magnitude than what it was back in 2005, I am much more resilient to pull through this one with patience and optimism. Not to forget my Creator's Wisdom,

And We will surely test you with something of fear and hunger and a loss of wealth and lives and fruits, but give good tidings to the patient, Who, when disaster strikes them, say, "Indeed we belong to Allah , and indeed to Him we will return." [2:155-156]
